a great weekend for art

East Pilsen open studios THIS WEEKEND: Friday 9/26 (6-10 pm) to Sunday 9/28 (12-7). Under the Wire gallery (2210 S. Halsted) will be featuring Full-Body Henna, (well, nearly full) performed by Tejal Mehta on Chicago Burlesque Star Ms. Cherish. The courtyard gardens in the middle of a few blocks will be open to visitors. The stage in the middle of the block accessed from the church garden at 19th & Peoria will have performances.
