Well, duh! Many of us were saying this up front. How much could these free rides end up costing us later? Will they cost us the ability to keep the system running without large and painful service cuts later? Blago proves himself a wizard with numbers yet again by doubling the pain – promising free rides AND eliminating a $32M state subsidy that would have paid most of their cost. $66.5M is a DEEP hole.
