This is the first installment in a series on our 19th ward aldermanic candidates.
Ray Coronado is a running a grassroots campaign, making face-to-face contact with voters. He is accepting no campaign contributions, because he does not want to be biased by them or have any personal obligations to donors if he is elected. If elected, he intends to make alderman his full-time job, and to hold regular town hall meetings to get input from constituents.
His answers to the IVI-IPO questionnaire provide more detail on his positions.
If you're interested in following his campaign or volunteering, here's a link to his Facebook page.

Since I put up this blog post, the Tribune Editorial board has posted answers to candidate questionnaires. You can find this helpful information here.
Why don't you note this information under the other headings about the other candidates? It would be the responsible thing to do after you noted that some of them didn't fill our IVI-IPO questionnaires. The Trib and Suntimes are more familiar to voters than IVI-IPO, and the websites for the newspapers clearly post the links to candidate questionnaires on the main page of their respective sites. Are you sure you are really trying to keep voters as informed as possible? It doesn't look like it.
